Elizabeth Carolan also known as Beth Phoenix was born as Elizabeth Kocanski on the 24th of November 1980 in Elmira in the city of New York and is a professional wrestler. She is currently working for WWE on its RAW brand. She got an invitation to a WWE tryout in the May of 2004 and later she began working on a full time basis at WWE’s developmental area in the Ohio Valley of Wrestling and this is where she actually started working as a wrestler and as a valet for Aaron Stevens alongside Shelly Martinez.

In the month of October 2005 she was finally signed on to a developmental contract with WWE and has gone onto become a popular WWE Diva. Beth began her wrestling career at the Elmira, New York Notre Dame High School and she grabbed the lime light as the first ever female wrestler in the history of her high school.

Later on she went on to become the North-East freestyle women’s champ in the 72 kgs weight class in the year 1999. Beth also happened to become the women’s champ again in the 72 kgs weight class right at the New York State Fair Tournament held in 1999. This WWE Diva also had the distinction of being crowned the most outstanding wrestler at the Brockport Freestyle Tournament the same year and she also happened to be a member of USA Wrestling that was a freestyle wrestling club.

Beth Phoenix wrestled for OVW and later found more fame when she joined WWE. Beth Phoenix had her debut in WWE on the 8th of May in the year 2006 in an episode of RAW where she attacked Mickie James while the later was assaulting on Trish Stratus. Quite naturally, Beth was blamed for everything by Mickie and about 7 days later she was introduced to Trish in a formal manner and later clobbered Mickie when she was distracted. She did this on Trish’s behalf.

A week later, Beth was formally introduced by Trish Stratus and then battered a distracted Mickie on Trish’s behalf. On the May 29 of the year 2006, Beth teamed up with fellow WWE Diva Torrie Wilson against Candice Michelle and Victoria and she pinned Candice and won the match. This happened in of the episodes of RAW. Beth often referred to as the Glamazon later went on to win the WWE Women’s Title and continues to have a fine and illustrious career as a WWE Diva.
