Maria Kanellis is a well known WWE diva who was born in Ottawa. She was born on the 25th of February in the year 1982 and she grew up as a sports loving person who had immense interests in basketball, softball and volleyball. In the year 2000, she graduated from high school and later spent some time in the Northern Illinois University. She had a golden opportunity to pose for an issue of Playboy when she was nineteen years old.

Around the year 2004, she had yet another chance to contest in Outback Jack that was a reality show and this is where she reached the group of survivors and later was eliminated. She was previously participating in various beauty contests prior to her career in WWE. Maria Kanellis participated in the Raw Diva Search and even though she couldn’t win the contest, the WWE Company hired her due to her infamous Kanellis mid-finger incident against one of her contestants.

Much later Kannellis was seen to start making several of her appearances in the Wrestling place at the Ohio Valley training under Paul Heyman. Kannellis was indeed innovative from the beginning and later she did earn a particular place from where she could contribute many ideas for the bookings and her innovative ways also won her a top rank in the Raw roster. She debuted in the November of 2004 and then the Raw diva won yet another spot and also managed to cement her reputation in the role of an oblivious reporter in the backstage and she was the one who asked all the wrong as well as irritating questions that disturbed as well as amused the RAW personnel.

Maria started to get a little more physical in the ring and had her official match in the year 2005 where she was defeated. Maria has also competed in an Eddy Guerrero tribute show and she was up against many other WWE divas.

She stood her ground till she was eliminated. In the year 2008, Maria Kanellis started working with the SmackDown brand and she was a part of the Draft Supplement that took place in the same year. She debuted in the show on the 1st of August and defeated Victoria. In the November’s edition of the show Kannelis however failed to take the victory championship away from McCool. She continues to cement her popularity status in the WWE.
