Rosa Mendes originally called Milena Leticia Roucka was born on the 25th of October 25 1979. She’s an ex-model of Canadian origin, and is presently a pro wrestler. She has a Costa Rican and Czech descent which explains her exotic looks. Currently she is signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) where she is working with RAW under the name Rosa Mendes.
Apart from working with WWE, she also continues to train at its developmental facility of the FCW or the Florida Championship Wrestling. Roucka made her debut with WWE when she took part in the 2006 Diva Search and she finished fourth. The WWE also decided to hire her along with many eliminated contestants. She was then assigned to train under the in Ohio Valley Wrestling. She gradually started to wrestle in the FCW or the Florida Championship Wrestling under the ring name of Roucka.
In the summer of 2006 she took part in the auditions for the WWE’s third installment of the Diva Search Contest and later reached the final 8 she ranked fourth in the competition and WWE signed her up just a few days post her elimination. She was signed on the on August 24 in the year 2006. She was signed on to a developmental contract with the company and went on to fit in amongst WWE divas.
Her debut in the FCW was in March 2008, and later she made her debut with FCW television in an event called the “Diva Twist off” which WWE Diva Kelly Kelly hosted. Rosa Mendes had her first TV match in which she defeated Wesley Holiday. From then on, she teamed Alicia Fox and Holiday. On the 24th of November 24 in 2008 Roucka appeared in an edition of RAW with a placard that proclaimed her being then-WWE Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix’s number one fan. She was seen for a few weeks with the placard.
She was later given her WWE name, Rosa Mendes by Santilo. She had attacked Melina, Beth’s contestant twice and had aided her mentor to win the match with ease. She was banned from the ring by Stephanie McMahon and she did evade this ban and attacked Melina after disguising herself as a paparazzo. Santilo announced on the 19th January that he had hired Rosa to be his and Beth’s intern. Beth was initially reluctant but later gave in and agreed to have Rosa, her “number 1 fan” to be her intern.
